Craylands & Fryerns Regeneration
Basildon, UK
A PRP project in which I participated as lead landscape architect alongside urban designers and architects to produce a masterplan, an outline planning application and a design code.
The masterplan and landscape strategy aimed at solving physical problems associated with the Radburn layout, as well as reinforcing existing landscape features such as historic hedgerows
and mature trees, into a green spine that combines amenity and biodiversity.
Stanhope PFI
Ashford, UK
PRP was invited to tender as part of a consortium to develop several sites within the estate’s masterplan, as well as refurbish all external areas. These included pedestrian spine routes, a new local centre and square, parks and play areas, communal greens, roads and SUDS.
As lead landscape architect I prepared a landscape strategy for the bid and consultation.
Following the successful ITN, PRP was commissioned to obtain planning permissions and prepare detailed proposals for each area.
Marsh Farm Estate Regeneration
Luton, UK
A 'PRP' project in which I participated in the masterplanning and public consultation team, alongside urban designers and architects.

The proposals included a new town centre and market square, local parks, tree belts, wetlands restoration and Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems.
Great Western Park Masterplan
Didcot, UK
A 'PRP' project in which I participated in the masterplanning alongside urban designers and architects.
The masterplan and landscape strategy aimed at mitigating the large extension and creating sequences of open spaces of varied formality whilst retaining many existing landscape features.
As well as 3,400 new homes, the development will include one secondary and two primary schools, three neighbourhood centres, a sports centre, local parks, tree belts and Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems.
Woodberry Down Estate Regeneration
Hackney, North London, UK
A 'PRP' project in which I participated in the competition team, alongside urban designers and architects to design four start-up sites from the Woodberry Down masterplan.
The design process looked at the whole of the masterplan and the relationship of the four sites with the existing and proposed urban fabric. Core outputs were landscape constraints and opportunities study, a landscape strategy and conceptual landscape proposals for parks, streetscape and interfaces with adjacent New River and reservoirs.
Ocean Estate Regeneration
Stepney, East London, UK
A 'PRP' project in which I participated in the masterplanning and consultation team, alongside urban designers and architects.
The landscape strategy aimed to diversify and improve the quality of open space, establish a legible hierarchy of streets and homezones and implement Secure-by-Design principles.
Wembley W01
Wembley, North London, UK
A 'PRP' project in which I proposed a preliminary design for a roof garden covering an underground
car park in Wembley W01, the first block to be built from the Wembley masterplan.
The design concept was based on a white concrete “shell” that linked the two ground floor levels with the street level and provided substantial tree pits. The designed aimed at integrating leisure, amenity, pedestrian and vehicular circulation, ventilation and lighting into a single structure.
Mayflower Park
Worcester Park, Surrey, UK
A 'Chris
Blandford Associates' project, for which I managed the planning application,
detailed design and tender package production.
The
new parkland covers the north part of the site, previously a Sewage Treatment
Works site, and was designed as an integrated extension of the New-England
themed residential development character. The park seeks to draw people to
the variety of open public spaces and water features. A number of viewpoints
allow extensive visibility along the main axial link of the park and the residential
areas. There are numerous walking and cycling routes of varying formality
and more natural areas were designed for habitat creation and enhanced ecological
value.
The Hamptons
Worcester Park, Surrey, UK
A ‘Chris
Blandford Associates’ project, for which I managed the detailed design and
tender package production.
The New-England themed Phase 1 out of 5, covers the west part of the site,
previously a Sewage Treatment Works site, and includes the entrance to the
development, 157 private houses and affordable housing. The landscape design
seeks to enhance the local quality of the housing and the external areas.
At the heart of phase 1 is a strong community focus, including a community
building and open spaces, providing a core identity for the whole development.
Renovation of Tel-Aviv Boulevards
Tel-Aviv, Israel
A GIDEON

Seoul, South Korea
A Martha Schwartz Partners Ltd. project on which I acted as project landscape architect for sketch design and design development stages.
Parc1 will be one of the largest mixed-use development in Seoul, transforming the Yeouido district into a major business and commercial hub of north-east Asia.
The site measures 300m x 150m, with a total area of 46,465m². Local regulations stipulated an amount of open space and green space equals to approx. 24% of the site area has to be provided with additional rooftop green area for ecological purposes.
Lea River Park
East London, UK
A Latz+Partner project for which I lead the design through Stages C-D, including stakeholder
presentations, technical coordination and production.
As a major tributary to the Thames, the River Lea flows through the historic industrial heartland of London and the Lea River Park vision is the transformation of a working landscape into a new public realm.
The importance of Phase 1 of the Park is magnified by its connecting responsibility for the 2012 Olympic Games. The commission included scoping and identifying the first phase route, including a number of new pedestrian and cycle bridges.
Christ Church Spitalfields
East London, UK
A Latz+Partner project for which I lead the client liaison and the design through Stage C, including stakeholder presentations, technical coordination and production.
Christ Church Spitalfields is a Grade I listed Hawksmoor building and a major landmark in the area of Spitalfields market and Brick Lane. The design for the enlarged public park establishes a new axis along the church, a new plaza and the new school entrance. The design for the school playgrounds offers multiple adventure trails and optimises the limited space available.
